A Prayer for Strength When Life Feels Heavy
Some days, life feels heavier than you expected. When you’re emotionally exhausted or struggling to keep going, remember that you don’t have to find strength on your own. God is with you in every difficult moment.
A comforting prayer for strength, courage, and God’s grace when life feels overwhelming.
A Prayer for Strength When Life Feels Heavy
Lord, Give Me Strength for Today
Heavenly Father,
Today, my heart feels heavy. I’m carrying worries, responsibilities, and emotions that sometimes feel like more than I can handle.
Lord, You know the struggles I don’t always speak about. You see the moments when I feel exhausted, the tears I hold back, and the quiet battles I’m trying to fight on my own.
Please meet me in this moment.
When I feel weak, remind me that Your strength is enough. When I feel overwhelmed, help me focus on just the next step instead of everything that lies ahead.
Give me the courage to face what I cannot avoid, the patience to endure what I cannot change, and the wisdom to recognize when I need to rest.
Lord, help me release the pressure to be strong all the time. Remind me that I don’t have to pretend everything is okay to be worthy of Your love.
When my circumstances feel uncertain, steady my heart. When discouragement creeps in, renew my hope. And when I feel like giving up, gently remind me that I am never walking through this life alone.
Fill me with Your peace today. Not necessarily the strength to handle everything at once, but enough grace for this moment and enough faith to take the next step.
Thank You for being my refuge when life feels heavy and my source of strength when I have none left.
I place this day, these worries, and my weary heart into Your loving hands.
Amen.
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
— Isaiah 40:29 (KJV)
